While the Boeing 747 defined Lufthansa’s intercontinental ambitions, it was the narrow-body fleet that built the airline’s European identity flight by flight, route by route, across a continent of competing capitals and regional hubs. This mission pack honours that legacy with twelve IFR ultra-realistic missions operated aboard the Airbus A320neo — the aircraft that carries Lufthansa’s European network into its second century — wearing the exclusive special livery created for the airline’s 100th founding anniversary.

The Centennial paint scheme, a deep navy fuselage bearing the iconic oversized white crane, is included as a dedicated repaint for the iniBuilds A320neo in two versions, fully compatible with both Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

From the Rhine-Main basin to Scandinavia, from the Iberian Mediterranean coast to the Tibetan-scale drama of Innsbruck’s Alpine valley, the twelve missions cover the full geographic breadth of Lufthansa’s European operation. Routes have been selected to balance commercial authenticity — workhorse trunk connections that shaped the airline’s intra-European network — with variety of destination, airspace character, and operational challenge. No two sectors offer the same experience: the compressed vertical profile of Berlin–Munich, the technically demanding valley approach at Innsbruck, the terrain-rich departure from Nice, and the layered ATC environment of the Rome TMA all ensure that each mission presents its own distinct set of challenges and rewards.

Every briefing has been researched and authored to reflect the historical, geographical, and operational context of each route, maintaining the professional tone of an airline captain’s pre-departure brief while drawing the simmer into the character of each destination.
